In 1990, Leonid Monosov and his wife had a daughter, Alina Monosova. They also have an older son, Andrei. When Leonid was 5 years old, his family moved to Moscow, Sokolniki District. This is the place where Alina spent all her childhood, too.
Alina Monosova’s biography is quite interesting, primarily because the girl was never afraid to experiment, like her father. Leonid Monosov was brave enough to take on a difficult project and rapidly developed in the chosen direction in construction, while Alina figures out what she wants and she is not afraid to change her life completely. Alina is sure that fortune favors the bold and if a person is not afraid to make important decisions, can go with gut, and differentiate between genuine desires and those imposed upon us, he can definitely succeed in his career and life. The whole biography of Alina shows her character and courage to find herself: she has already worked on television, in construction, in investments, created a psychology project, and currently she is fond of fashion and style. What is next? Wait and see.
Education
Alina’s life was never boring or monotonous, not even in childhood. Let’s talk about school, for example. From 1st to 4th grade, Alina changed three schools, and it is not connected with moving; the family still lived in Sokolniki. The girl completed her 1st grade in a public school, from which her father and her older brother also graduated. However, the parents decided to give the girl a better secondary education, and the next school year, Alina met at a private school called “Premier.” There was a very good and well-planned school program, but there was a problem with logistics. It was quite difficult for a child to commute for two hours. Thus, in the 4th grade, Alina went to MES, the Moscow Economic School, from which she successfully graduated.
School was quite easy for her. The only difficulty was that the girl had no favorite subjects. She perfectly coped with History, Russian language, or Mathematics, but she wasn’t really interested in any subject. That is why Alina has been thinking for a long time about which university she should go to. Fortunately, by the end of the eleventh grade, Alina decided to go to MGIMO, the Moscow State Institute of International Relations.
Initially, she studied at the School of International Business and Business Administration. Alina liked her studies and still remembers her studentship with nostalgia. At the same time, while studying at MGIMO, Alina had a dream to study in London, so the girl decided not to enter the Master’s program, although her parents insisted. However, she couldn’t go to London due to family circumstances. Thus, Monosova Alina Leonidovna entered the part-time department at MGIMO, Department of Public Governance.
Alina started working while she was still a student. The girl decided to fulfill her childhood dream and went to work on Channel One Russian (1TV). However, very soon she was disappointed in television, as it turned out not to be as interesting as she had imagined. There was a lot of intrigue and gossip, and Alina just got bored. She realized that there were no career prospects and left television soon. Moreover, there was an opportunity to fulfill another dream of youth: to go to Great Britain. The girl went to London to study as an exchange student at Regents University. Monosova Alina Leonidovna also enjoys this student life and still keeps in touch with many classmates from different parts of the world.
Work
When she came back to Moscow, the question of further life arose. Her father suggested starting a career in construction to follow in his footsteps, while her mother would support any choice of her daughter, suggesting that she should trust herself and follow her desires. As a result, Monosova Alina Leonidovna got a job at Moskapstroi-TN, where she eventually worked for about 10 years, having become a vice president of the company. Despite the fact that Alina still considers this choice very successful, as work in “Moskapstroi-TN” made Alina a strong and self-confident specialist and manager, one day she realized that she had hit the ceiling and there was no career advancement. It was difficult for Alina to leave the company, but she did it.
Next, Monosova Alina Leonidovna worked as an Investment Director at Skama Group, a management and construction firm.
Hobbies
Working in the construction industry, Alina was still trying to figure out her true desires. Perhaps it was this aspiration that eventually led Alina into psychology. Along with her work, she retrained at Moscow State University, earning a degree in Personality and Business Psychology. Then she also got a diploma in coaching and mastered the basics of Gestalt therapy. Alina tried to develop in this field; she and her friend created the project “One Wave”, which helped people quickly find psychologists and coaches according to their needs. However, Alina had to choose between the start-up and her career and chose the second option. “One Wave” has closed.
Currently, Monosova Alina Leonidovna is trying herself as a co-author of a new Telegram channel about fashion and style.
